A podcast about facing fear, hearing “no,” and building confidence that actually lasts. Hosted by Dr. Tom
I’m Dr. Tom, a physician and Emmy Award-winning producer who’s spent years studying how fear and rejection shape our lives.
This show is my way of helping you build real confidence by facing what scares you, head on.
Confidence grows where comfort ends
You are often one “no” away from a breakthrough
I’m Dr. Tom, a physician and Emmy Award-winning producer, and I created Rejection Rehab after seeing the same pattern repeat itself over and over. Brilliant, capable people holding back. Not because they lack talent, intelligence, or ambition, but because fear of rejection quietly runs the show.
In medicine, in storytelling, and in life, I’ve watched how the fear of hearing “no” shapes careers, relationships, and self-worth more than almost anything else. People play it safe, stay quiet, or walk away from things they want, not because they should, but because rejection feels personal, final, and defining.
Rejection Rehab was created to challenge that idea, and to change the way we relate to rejection at every level.
Rejection Rehab is a podcast about reframing rejection as a normal, unavoidable part of growth. Each episode combines real human stories with insights from psychology and neuroscience to explain what rejection does to the brain, and how to respond to it without losing confidence.
I speak with founders, creatives, athletes, doctors, and everyday people who have faced rejection in meaningful ways. Some were turned down publicly. Others failed privately. What they share is a willingness to stay in the arena and keep moving forward when confidence wavers.
This show isn’t about ignoring the pain of rejection or pushing empty positivity. It’s about learning how to recover faster, use rejection as feedback, and build confidence that doesn’t depend on approval or external validation.
